New area codes in Quebec ...

Since Saturday, October 22, 2022, 3 new area codes have been added in Quebec:

- 263 for the Montreal region (514 and 438);

- 354 for the outskirts of Montreal (450 and 579);

- and 468 for other area codes of 819 and 873.

These new codes are necessary due to the increase in demand and communication needs for individuals and businesses in Canada.
